About Chigign

‘Chigign’ is a reality TV show dedicated to elevating entrepreneurship and angel investing in Ethiopia. It’s a platform for entrepreneurs to gain access to capital and management expertise. The show aims to encourage and educate entrepreneurs, youth, and society at large about the importance of entrepreneurship, private equity, angel investing, and the private sector in Ethiopia.

After entrepreneurs apply to pitch, they will receive training on private equity and best practices in pitching their  businesses. Entrepreneurs who are selected for the show will pitch to a panel of investors on  national television and will receive feedback and coaching.
